PERSONA_ERROR

PERSONA_ERROR is a short psychological horror experience set in a corporate office, where the real threat is not a monster, but the pressure to become someone you are not.

You play as a new employee facing an important presentation. After losing critical information, you must navigate the office and interact with coworkers who embody different social behaviors: empathy, dominance, and apathy.

Progression is driven by dialogue choices. Some paths are only accessible by adopting specific social masks, allowing you to say what others expect to hear rather than what you truly mean.

Using these masks makes things easier — doors open, people cooperate — but every time you rely on them, your identity slowly deteriorates.

This loss of identity is reflected directly in the game’s presentation. As your identity degrades, the world becomes more distorted: visuals glitch, audio warps, and the atmosphere grows increasingly uncomfortable.

PERSONA_ERROR does not punish failure directly. Instead, it asks the player a harder question:

Is it better to struggle as yourself, or succeed as someone else?

The game features a single ending sequence with multiple variations based on how you chose to interact with others and how much of yourself you were willing to sacrifice.
